Biodiversity-oriented Startup Accelerators

Accelerators are for startups at a more advanced stage. They will typically have a MVP or protoype, pilot customers, pitch deck and are getting ready to scale. It is important for startups at this stage to join an Accelerator focused on climate, natural capital and biodiversity.

A UK-based organisation providing a range of Accelerator programmes for different climate sectors. Their Blue Carbon Accelerators programme for example is in collaboration  with EY, The Crown Estate and Hogan Lovells, and aims to support blue carbon projects and blue carbon ventures, build and develop their ocean impact organisations.

Our award-winning accelerator program combines 90 days of workshops, networking & learning sessions — run by world leading mentors & partners — with €150,000-€500,000 investments, unlocking our Deep Blue Fund’s capacity for €1,500,000-€4,000,000 follow-on investments in subsequent Series A, B+ rounds.

Our 6-months remote acceleration journey is for start-ups that are looking for their first significant funding and are on the way to find their product-market fit. An initiative from the University of Toronto, this Accelerator has already backed a number of biodiversity-tech startups like "Spoor". It is is a nonprofit organization that delivers an objectives-based program for massively scalable, seed-stage, science- and technology-based companies.
